I completed my Physiotherapy degree at the University of the West of England graduating in 2003. I returned to Norfolk to work as a Junior Physiotherapist at the University Hospital in Norwich where I gained clinical experience in all areas of Physiotherapy. I soon realised my passion and interest was in treating people with Musculoskeletal conditions. Consequently from there I went on to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and have worked in this area in various NHS settings including hospitals and GP clinics. I have also worked as a Civilian Physio for the Military at a local Army Barracks.
My family and I moved to North Norfolk in 2007 where I have been working as an NHS Physiotherapist at clinics in Kelling, Wells and Fakenham. I have recently chosen to work in private practice in addition to the NHS.
I have a particular interest in Sports injuries and conditions and have a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Musculoskeletal Practice. I have experience in working as a Physio for rugby teams, and as a keen runner and cyclist; I enjoy treating conditions related to these sports.
I am qualified to practice Acupuncture and find this a very useful treatment technique in conjunction with hands-on joint and soft tissue techniques, exercise based rehabilitation and self management strategies.
I am a chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health Profession Council and the Association of Acupuncture Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
